Nile Cappello is a Los Angeles-based writer and producer focused on true crime. As a journalist, she publishes with outlets including HuffPost, VICE, LitHub, Rolling Stone LA Weekly, High Times, POPSUGAR, Eventbrite, and Bustle, and has written on topics including mental illness, body dumping, child abuse, and serial murder.
As a screenwriter, Cappello draws upon her experience in true crime for scripted film and television projects, including two memoir-to-feature-film adaptations. In addition, she is currently executive producing documentary series with Campfire, STX, and 44 Blue. Cappello is represented by Antonio D’Intino of Circle of Confusion.
